Bienvenido!! I am first and foremost a healer, as well as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am a Queer & Non-Binary mezcla bella (beautiful mix) of a father who immigrated from Guatemala and a mother of Western European descent.

I have devoted my career to better understanding healing, hope, and resilience for people who have been marginalized—specifically QTBIPOC communities. I focus on queer identity development among collectivist and community-focused cultures, as well as healing acute, systemic, and intergenerational trauma for QTBIPOC people.

I am excited to be part of the Simple Modern Therapy team as Partner & Training Director, practicing here in Salt Lake City, Utah as well as across the state via telehealth.

I believe that we are truly whole when in connection and community. Through teaching, training, education, and advocacy, I seek to bridge the gap between research and clinical practice.
